Which staff member will nail their pick this week?
As the Buccaneers are set to take on the Cowboys in Dallas, we here at Bucs Nation will dive into some picks and predictions for Tampa Bay’s big Week 16 matchup.
Check it all out below.
Predictions
Gil Arcia: The train keeps rolling
Tampa Bay hasn’t had this much excitement out of their running game since WD-40 was the duo in charge of penetrating the trenches a couple decades ago. In the present, running backs Bucky Irving and Rachaad White have been the heartbeat of the Bucs offensive production at times and recently the two names the opposition has feared. This week, they’ll continue their stellar production out of the backfield when both account for nearly 250 total yards of the Bucs offense and three touchdowns.
Will Walsh: Texas-sized duel
No Dak Prescott, no problem. Dallas has quietly won three of its last four games. In the last two, they’ve found CeeDee Lamb to the tune of two touchdowns and over 200 yards. This week will feature a primetime bout in more ways that one. CeeDee Lamb versus Mike Evans will be worth price of admission. Evans, returning home to the state of Texas, on his quest for NFL history— is coming off his best performance of the season. Lamb is the Cowboys’ most consistent source of offensive production and will be used as such. The two will combine for 225 yards and two scores. Lamb’s production won’t be immaterial, however, Evans’ contributions will be accompanied by another 150 yards from his backs— Giving Tampa Bay the win.
Evan Wanish: Bucs offense keeps the good times going
I have been super impressed by what I’ve seen from this Bucs offense this season. They’ve been able to score points with or without their top weapons and against some of the better defensive units in the NFL. While Dallas’ defense has faced some injuries on defense, they still aren’t a great unit and I think Tampa Bay can take advantage of that. Pencil the Bucs in for another 30 point offensive performance including scores from Mike Evans and Bucky Irving.
