TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Tuesday, marking his second appearance in two years.
Mayfield was selected to replace Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is injured.
This makes Mayfield the first Bucs quarterback to be selected for Pro Bowl multiple times. For the second consecutive season, he’s set career highs for completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns, and more.
In the 2024 season, Mayfield became the fourth passer in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards, more than 40 touchdowns and record a 70% or higher completion rate. He also became the 10th player in NFL history to throw for over 4,500 yards and over 40 touchdowns in a single season.
Mayfield joins fellow Bucs players Mike Evans, Vita Vea and Tristan Wirfs for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. This is the second largest group of Bucs appearing in a Pro Bowl game since 2021, when nine players represented the team.
The 2025 games take place Jan. 30 through Feb. 2 in Orlando.
