TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— Wide Receiver Mike Evans with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.
Evans is replacing Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is unable to participate due to an injury.
According to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this is the sixth career Pro Bowl Honor for Evans tying him for the third most selections by a Buccaneer in franchise history.
Evans was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024.
Evans trails behind Pro Football Hall of Famers Derrick Brooks with 11 selections and Warren Sapp with seven.
Evans extended his historic streak of 1,000-yard receiving seasons to 11 in 2024 tying Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and surpassing Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss for the second-most total 1,000-yard seasons.
According to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Evans remains Tampa Bay’s all-time leader in points scored, receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns, and scrimmage yards.
Evans has been a captain in the past eight seasons with the Bucs and is a four-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
Teammates Vita Vea and Tristan Wirfs will be joining Evans at the Pro Bowl. The two were originally selected on Jan. 2.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be played from Jan. 30 through Feb. 2 in Orlando.
